Changes to MySpace

Published by worldgirl84 under Net Design Edit This

The new changes to MySpace which they call (MySpace 2.0) came as quite a shock to me I have to admit. While the site does have more user-friendly features than it did it poses some new problems which it did not have before.

It is easier to customize the pages than ever before and eliminates the need for going to third-party sites to design your own layout or to get a pre-made one (which is kind of a bummer for all those other sites) which also makes it easier to avoid viruses and malicious ads showing up.

The main problem that I have had with it is how easy it is to turn off features that you want to keep on. I never really noticed that the about me section was actually called blurbs before until I wondered where it went. But once you figure it out it’s not so bad.

It’s mroe visually oriented which I like also. So I guess when all is said and done I like the new MySpace. I even have a page there: http://www.myspace.com/worldgirl84_itgirlfilms (which I had to get after one of those horrible third-parties destroyed my other page).

Taaz

OK this site transcends a few different types of artistic interests. It’s for fashionistas who want to try on a lot of different looks without a lot of time or money, it’s for web design students who need something great to write about in class and of course it’s for readers of this blog. It’s called Taaz a free virtual makeover tool that not only allows users to try on new make up and hair on virtual models or their pics but also will show you which brands and colors you are using. You can come up with some pretty great high fashion stuff or some pretty prctical looks that look awfully realistic with minimal effort.
